The Baerbel Jennert Foundation is a Kenyan non-profit organisation supporting children, adolescents, women and families through education, health information and livelihood programmes.

Our contact form asks for your name and email address and provides fields for a subject and message. We also receive any personal information you choose to include when you email us.
We use this information to respond to your enquiry, answer questions about our work and manage related correspondence.

We do not currently offer a newsletter or accept online donations through this website.
Contact enquiries and access
Contact-form messages are delivered to our email inbox. Access to enquiries and website administration is restricted to selected authorised persons within the Foundation.
If an enquiry leads to programme participation or another relationship with the Foundation, we will explain any additional information requirements separately.
How long we keep enquiries
Our retention policy is to delete completed general enquiries from our email inbox 12 months after the enquiry has been closed.
Correspondence needed for an ongoing programme, partnership or other relationship may be retained for that purpose. Information subject to a legal retention requirement may be kept for the required period.
Cookies and browser storage
During a browser check of the pages tested in October 2026, including our contact page, no cookies for our website domain or local-storage entries were observed.
This was a limited check and does not establish that every page or website feature is free from cookies, other storage technologies or tracking.
Photographs and programme stories
Our website includes photographs and stories about our work. We obtain permission to publish photographs of identifiable participants. For children, we obtain permission from their parents or guardians.
If you have a concern about a photograph or story featuring you or a child for whom you have parental responsibility, or wish to withdraw permission, please contact info@baerbeljennert.org so that we can review and respond to your request.
Security
Access to the Foundation’s website administration and email inbox is limited to selected authorised persons.
No website, email service or method of electronic storage can guarantee complete security.
Your rights
Under applicable Kenyan data protection law, you have rights concerning your personal information. These include being informed about its use, accessing information held about you, objecting to processing, and requesting correction or deletion of false or misleading information.
